Good Connections Workshop for Moms and Daughters (Grades 6-12)

The Clarence Youth Bureau invites moms and daughters to save November 19, 2008 to attend a unique workshop.  Good Connections :  The View on Healthy Relationships, provides a unique opportunity for moms and daughters to explore healthy and unhealthy relationships regarding friendships and dating.  The workshop includes dinner, good conversation and games.  It will be held at the Youth Bureau, 10510 Main Street from 6-9 p.m.  The cost is $10 for mom and daughter(s).  Please call 407-2162 by November 12th to register.

Town of Clarence Youth Bureau

The Town of Clarence Youth Bureau, located at 10510 Main St. offers programs and services for youth and families in the Clarence community.  The mission of the Youth Bureau is to provide services, opportunities and resources that promote positive, healthy development among the youth of Clarence.  Fall/Winter programs include:  The Youth Volunteer Program (year-round), 1st Annual Halloween in the Park, The “Just for Girl’s” Program, and the BLAST! Halloween in the Park!

The Town of Clarence Youth Board and Recreation Department announce the 1st Annual Halloween in the Park!  The event will take place on Saturday, October 25th, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Clarence Town Park, 10405 Main St.  Activities include a spooky playground for younger children and parents, a haunted walk, cider stop, candy giveaway and costume contest.  Costumes will be judged by age groups in the categories of scariest, cutest and most original.  Volunteers are needed for the event.  To participate, call the Youth Bureau at 407-2162.
